As a marketing professional for over 20 years, I have achieved a few accolades along the way but a couple of months ago I was particularly pleased when I was elected Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
I’ve been a member of the CIM for many years having gained my Certificate, Advanced Certificate, and Doploma in Marketing qualifications early in my career.
However, there is a success even sweeter than the one you earn yourself – and that is when your peers recognise your professional achievements and choose to honour this with an award that only few receive.
It is not the first Fellowship I have been awarded – I was recognised for my contribution to academia by the Cambridge Marketing College – but to be able to add FCIM to my letters is another wonderful honour.
