The turkey has been stuffed and so have we – with lots of lovely food and drink that is – and now we’re squaring up to January and saying: “Bring it on pal!”
Well, if you can’t quite face it all just yet, grab yourself a coffee and take a moment to look at my new podcast series CATtales being broadcast on Deep Red Radio, a new on-demand radio service that has just launched.
Over the years, in my journalistic career I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, chatting to, and interviewing some very high-profile names in the world of music, arts and entertainment and now some of these are being aired on my CATtales audio channel.
The series features some favourites of mine, like the one with Bowie’s guitarist, Earl Slick, Slade’s Dave Hill, and the legendary Sex Pistol, Glen Matlock, and also some from my archive of old analogue tape recordings have been digitally remastered which includes one of my all time favourite conversations with Teardrop Explodes’ Julian Cope.
My very talented friend and amazing singer-songwriter, Lesley Curtis, kindly penned a jingle for the series and I am very humble to have so many wonderful encounters with such fabulous people over the years.
I will be airing new interviews as they happen but, in the meantime, please take a look at my channel, or find CATtales on iTunes, and listen into a few of the tales.
