Size Matters, the world-first exhibition I managed for my clients; leading digital printers Structure-flex, and rock photographer Nick Elliott, earlier this year has made the final nominees for a Digital Printer Award.

Shortlisted in the wide format printing category, the awards are recognised as one of the industry’s most prestigious honours events and are a true celebration of the excellence of UK digital printing.

Rock, Art and Wine in The South of France

It’s not every day that you get an invite to the South of France but I have been lucky enough to secure one having represented the interests of rock photographer, Nick Elliott, in an exhibition on the coast.

After organising the delivery of Nick’s fine art work, preparing material for his personal appearances, arranging for him to sign a limited edition catalogue and publicising the event, I’m looking forward to visiting the playground of the rich and famous this May. (more…)

That may come as a bit of a surprise to those of you who receive their income from an employer and gaze jealously on the perceived lifestyle of their self-employed counterparts – shorter working hours, higher earnings, no boss.

Walking a mile in another’s shoes…

…can be pretty uncomfortable!

As a photo-journalist, I am usually the one that shines the spotlight in the face of various subjects but when I was invited to be interviewed myself for Kings Lynn Online, how could I refuse?

Meeting with the editor on a lovely sunny afternoon in March was really pleasurable but as we sipped a refreshingly cold drink and chatted about life, I began to realise that the shoe was well and truly on the other foot.

Whiskey in the jar

Januarys are pretty unattractive.

At least, they usually are. Post-Christmas blues, gloomy cold weather and to make it worse, I’ve been keeping off the alcohol all month in an attempt to do a ‘dry January’.
