Stars In Their Eyes

I saw a post on Facebook recently by a friend who had met the motorcycle champion-come-rock star, James Toseland, one of the celebrities I’d had the pleasure of working with last year. She was over the moon at meeting him at one of his gigs and having the opportunity to post a picture of her with him on her social works, as you can imagine.

It reminded me now lucky I am to move in professional circles that often bring me into contact with celebrities, like James, regularly and how easy it is to take it all for granted. Sure, the people I meet are not all wonderful…they are just human beings like you and I…but to those who are not lucky enough to meet the rich and famous regularly then it can be somewhat of a novelty and, maybe even, a lifetime’s ambition fulfilled. Diving Into The Deep Red

I am really pleased to have been appointed Senior Editor for a new, contemporary, music and arts magazine that is set to take the market by storm when it’s launched later this year.

Deep Red Magazine, plans to bring good quality content to fans of music and the arts with top-end interviews, features and reviews in rock, blues and folk.

I’m very much looking forward to heading up a wonderful publication and will be working alongside one of my clients, world-renowned rock photographer Nick Elliott who will be launching the magazine and will act as Director of Photography and Picture Editor. (more…)


She’s a jolly good Fellow

It’s not often that you get a surprise. I mean a real, jaw-dropping surprise that makes you catch your breath and brings a spontaneous smile to your face.

It’s also not often that you receive recognition for your professional abilites, and not just in private but as a real public declaration.

Well, that’s how my week began last week; with the receipt of a surprise package through the post inviting me to become a Fellow of the Cambridge Marketing College.
