Allison worked extensively in the music industry and was Managing Editor for the contemporary online magazine Deep Red.
She was also commissioned to write features, reviews, and interviews for many other magazines including Get Rhythm and Fatea, as well as penning monthly columns for Fine City and Norfolk On My Mind.
