Client: Medical Travel Compared
Brief: As one of the leading stand-alone travel insurance comparison sites for people with pre-existing conditions, MedicalTravelCompared.co.uk wanted to demonstrate their expertise in the sector and reach new audiences with the organisation’s key messages.
Solution: As a digital company, YouTube and SoundCloud were recommended for the media channel. Online, and not being used previously, these provided MedicalTravelCompared.co.uk with the opportunity to communicate new audiences, maximise the dynamic characteristics of the brand, and was easy shared through the companies existing social media.
A series of 12 ‘video shorts’ were produced around key medical conditions and insurance issues to provide customer advice and re-inforce the brand messages. The creative focused on an editorial style interview with the Head of Marketing to allow the empathetic side of the brand to be demonstrated.
The project entailed: research; script writing; media training; voice over; production management; and media channel creation.
The videos were launched to the industry and scheduled for circulation on a monthly basis through MedicalTravelCompared.co.uk’s social media and digital newsletter achieving over 4,000 views in the first 6 months alone.
