Wanting to give something back to the profession, Allison became a part-time academic tutor.
Tutoring for Cambridge Marketing College at Churchill College, Cambridge, Allison delivered CAM, CIM and CIPR Diploma modules in PR, Advertising, Sales Promotions, Direct Marketing, and Integrated Digital Media.
Allison was awarded a Fellowship for her work at Cambridge Marketing College and later became a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Lincoln delivering BA (Hons) and MA degree courses to students in PR Journalism.
Other institutions she tutored marketing for include Cheltenham Marketing College, Uppingham Business School, and Norfolk County Council.
