Throughout this year I have been fortunate enough to be working with former drummer of The Darkness, Ed Graham, and his new band Puppets to the Supreme Commander and this Autumn found myself involved in a video shoot for the band’s single Pagan Christmas.
Filmed at the beautiful Voewood House in Norfolk, Puppets to the Supreme Commander – Ed, Angus Druprey, Rebecca Waller, David Donley, and Peter Turrell – were joined by a bevvie of buxom beauties, a couple of druids, a man in dress, two wrestlers, and even a white rabbit. (more…)
I have to admit that I’m enjoying the experience and Gary’s latest video for his single, Alone On Christmas, was a particularly exciting project as it was a short film around a zombie breakout featuring a number of familiar faces including; Sally Geeson (Bless This House/Carry On films), Gary Ashburn, Jerome Blake (Star Wars), and Nick Elliott rock photographer.
What was even more exciting for me, though, was that I was invited to be one of the scientists brought in to help contain the attack but I don’t avoid being infected myself! (more…)
The recording of the fabulous new single, Why, from Gary Curtis and Anne Nolan, took a day in at the legendary studios and, what’s even better, I somehow found myself invited to appear as an extra in the crowd scenes.
I’ve also written, recently, about my thoughts on digital media and the increasing complexity of the role of Public Relations.
The digital revolution has a lot to answer for.
If the world of the PR specialist wasn’t already complicated enough with off and online content generation, media relations, event and project management, sponsorship and crisis management, digital media has made it a whole lot more demanding. (more…)
