Having been a regular contributor on the Marketing Review Show on Star Radio 107.9 FM for a couple of years, I was asked to be a guest presenter on the show.

Talking Branding On The Radio

As regular visitors to my site will possibly know, I am often asked to appear on the radio to talk about Marketing and PR and last month I was invited back onto the Marketing Review Show on Star Radio 107.9 FM.

At the end of last year I mentioned that I seem to be becoming a bit of a radio regular and, even though I never planned to, I am enjoying where the journey is taking me.

As a Fellow of the Cambridge Marketing College, I have been interviewed on the Cambridge Marketing Colleges Marketing Review show on Star Radio 107.9 FM a few times to impart some Marketing and PR knowledge to small businesses. (more…)

Music PR Is The Star

Last month, I was invited to divulge my thoughts on PR in the music and entertainment industry as part of the Cambridge Marketing Colleges Marketing Review feature on Star Radio 107fm.

I don’t often swap my usual position with the microphone to become the subject of an interview but it was great to give people an insight into the world of music PR and to dispel the myth portrayed in Absolutely Fabulous that it’s all about cracking open the “bolly dahhhlings“. (more…)

Are you sitting comfortably?

As we go through life, I believe that we all have the responsibility to give a little back as we go.  Lend a helping hand where we can or give someone a boost on their own journey.

One of the most rewarding parts of my career to-date has, undoubtedly, been my time imparting my communications knowledge to students of the crafts of marketing and PR.

Over the past 11 years I’ve been engaged in the transferral of knowledge for the Cambridge Marketing College and this weekend had the pleasure of tutoring a wonderful group of delegates in Manchester.
